1. No account to close
Visual Metaphor Trainer does not create a developer account or upload practice history to a developer server. Data is stored locally in the app’s private storage. Android backup may separately hold a copy, depending on your settings.
2. Reset progress in the app
- Open Visual Metaphor Trainer.
- Open Settings.
- Go to Your data and select Reset progress.
- Read the confirmation carefully and confirm only if you want to clear the data.
This removes practice history, streak, explored concepts, and the saved collection. Preferences such as appearance are separate. Resetting progress is not an export or an undoable archive.
3. Clear all local app data
To clear preferences as well, open Android Settings › Apps › Visual Metaphor Trainer › Storage (or “Storage & cache”) and choose Clear storage or Clear data. Menu names vary by device.
Clearing cache alone is not the same as clearing app data. Uninstalling normally removes the local app copy and its private data, but existing system backups are separate.
4. Manage Android backups
Review backup and device-transfer settings in Android and with your backup provider. If you want to remove backed-up app data, use the provider’s supported backup controls. The publisher cannot manage your system backup for you.
A retained backup may restore data when the app is installed again. Local deletion does not guarantee deletion from earlier system backups.
5. Remove website drafts
This website does not store contact drafts in a server database or its own persistent browser storage. Clear the fields or close the page. Your browser may preserve form entries or page state; clear those through browser settings if needed.
If you copied a draft, manage clipboard history through your device. If you sent it through an email service, the sent message is handled separately by your email provider and recipient.
